Photos taken in my last trip to Costa Rica. They include some old and typical artifacts. This is a detail on a typical pattern used in a small town called Sarchí for the oxcart wheels, which was the standard transportation for coffe, sugar cane and wood in Costa Rica until middle 20th century. Torre Latinoamericana. Located at Eje Central Lazaro Cardenas and Madero st. intersection, Mexico City. Built in 1956, was the tallest building in Mexico until 1984, when the Torre PEMEX was built. It's 182 m high (597 ft) and has a very effective pilot system that has avoid it to fall down during the last 2 biggest earthquakes in Mexico City: 1957 and 1985, both destroyed many other lower buildings.
